Our Generation

Our generation is one of the more.... interesting ones. We are a huge mixing pot of all different types of people. In my opinion, we range relatively from pre-teens (11 or 12) to young adults (28-ish). Mainly the people who are living in the current age of the new outburst of technology and don't really need an instruction manual to know who to work the things we have. We all have sort of a single range of knowledge in things that are sort of in the present, such as crazy articles or the latest need-to-know on social media. A lot of places I go, I hear adults that aren't classified in our generation going, "Oh, my daughter told me that  (blank) just happened! I couldn't believe it!".

To try to say something which we all share, we are all individuals, that's for sure. We each have our own past, present, and future. But, it's pretty hard to solely categorize our generation into attributes we all share. We have so many different opinions. Part of us loves the world; we take care of it. Others are disgusted by the world and the people in it, and a smidgen of us couldn't care less.

  1. When you talk about parents that are not considered to be part of our generation, try to expand more on why they are not considered to be a part of our generation. Also, expand more on what people do that makes them not like our world and the people in it and why people do like our world and the people in it.

    1. Our parents aren't in our generation because most parents aren't as technologically advanced as we are. We tend to absorb more knowledge than them from all of the important/useless information we read. (If that makes any sense). It's hard to explain how people don't like our world. It's kinda like those emo people (no offense to them) that just hate everything (again they might not be this way but some perceive them as this way). Some teenagers are known to have depression and see the world as a terrible place (again again they might not feel this way this is just what it's stereo-typically stated as) and yeah... I don't know it's just hard to explain, I guess.

  2. Hey Doe,
Not only did I agree with your blog, I also could tell you put a lot of thought into it. You have great ideas, and you know exactly how to say them! I think its humorously accurate that you mentioned the daughter telling her mother about news the mom didn't know. This happens a lot in my family, and my dad is usually the one to say "Did you read that on Twitter?" The only thing is I believe that "young adults" should have a lower age range. Maybe 18? Overall, great job!
